Changes in Gratitude and Latitude

Sunbeams warmly illuminate a body of water with majestic mountains in the background, filling the onlooker's heart with gratitude for this breathtaking display at this specific latitude.

I truly believe this is an article that we should read, easily once a month, if not more frequently. We all have a lot to be thankful for, just simply the fact that you’re reading this email. I’ve always appreciated anyone who has an attitude of gratitude. It always seemed like they got so much further, faster in life. They left no wounded behind and more than not, had people willing to follow them through thick and thin. How many of us have thanked the people who got us to where we are today? Just think of the stories you tell on a regular basis, and consider the individuals involved in those stories. Those are the ones we need to thank, even if it’s in your mind and you whisper the words to yourself. There are people that taught us very tough lessons and to this day we may not like them. But, those lessons were the hard ones that were essential to our growth, and somebody had to reach out and teach them to us. The ones that taught us about hugs and love and goodness in our deeds are also the ones we should thank with great energy.

Probably, one of the easiest things to do – truthfully – is to have a positive mental attitude every day. It’ll take a while, but it’s worth it. Catch yourself when you respond negatively in thought or action. Maybe there’s something you could have said or done that would’ve help that situation come out better than it did. All of this takes effort. All of this takes thinking and of course gratitude. It will get you everywhere in life.

One of the main reasons I go to sleep at night, is so I can wake up in the morning and start a new day loaded with new possibilities, hopefully with fun and friendship involved. Sometimes, I have to go hunt for that but it’s worth the journey. And speaking of journeys that’s exactly what were on, on this planet. So many things to see, so many things to be grateful for, so many people to thank. Please note the last few paragraphs of the article. It’s incredibly important for us to understand that: we are responsible for our own happiness and attitude! You can change it in a second and work on it for a lifetime.

Love and hugs to all of you. Stay positive, be full of gratitude, see good in your days and in your travels. Remember to thank people for the lessons they’re trying to teach us. In most cases they don’t know that, but they are.
